Position Role: To lead on the Equipment DLoD integration of new army capabilities. SO2 Equipment Integration ensures that any equipment changes required are fielded in line with strategic timelines dependencies and operational readiness definitions through the development of the modernisation Capability Implementation Plan (CIP).
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver equipment activity aligned through the CIP to enable new capabilities to be integrated into Fd Army.
2. Establish and lead an equipment integration tiger team to effectively plan in line with the CIP.
3. Coordinate with other DLoD integration SO2s to ensure equipment capability is integrated in line with the CIP.
5. Represent CIP equipment interests at Capability Integration Working Groups (CIWGs) and fielding working groups.
6. Provide authoritative equipment advice and guidance to SO1 DLoD Integration maintaining a pan-programmes holistic view to identify integration priorities risks opportunities and trade-offs.
7. Work with DLoD cohorts in the identification and integration of dependent capabilities to achieve coherent force outputs.
8. Work with SO1 DLoD Integration to contribute to the Balance of Investment (BoI) submissions where capability gaps are identified for projects in delivery.
