We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Engineering Services to join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at ourKielfacility.

WhatYouWill Do:

• Leadateamsupportingoperationsmanufacturingandqualityprocessestoolingandtooldesign andequipmentneededtosuccessfullyandeconomicallyproduceassignedparts/productsinaccordancedwithengineeringspecifications.

• Overseemanufacturingengineeringandqualityteamsanddeveloping/trainingthepersonnelthatperform and supporttheplantoperatingfunctions.

• Leadtooldesignassemblymanufacturingprocessingcostestimatingsystemsplanninglayoutstandardsandreleasing.

• Supportthedevelopmentofqualityassurancestrategiesprocessesguidelinesandcontrolplanswhichensurequalityandreliabilityofmanufacturedproducts.

• Leadthedevelopmentandimplementationofcorrectiveactionandpreventivemeasurestoachievequalitytargets.

• Investigateandaddresstrends with internal and external non-conformance.

• Driveimprovementsbasedondataanalysisand reviewreportswithqualityassuranceproductionmanagement andengineeringteamstosolvequality-relatedissues.

• Managedevelopmentimplementationandcontinualimprovementoftheoperatingmethodsequipmentsystemsandotheroperatinginfrastructureusedtorealizeoperatinggoalsandobjectives.

• Leadtheinstallationofnewmachinesandequipmentandprocesschangestoprovidethemostefficientandeconomicalmanufactureorassemblyofqualityparts.

• Providethetechnicalexpertisenecessarytodesign allaspectsofproductionassemblycostsqualitycompliancetosafetyguidelines and environmentalrequirementsformanufacturing.

• Overseetheadministrationandcontinualimprovementofqualitymanagementsystems.
  
  

WhatYouHave(KeySkills/Experience):

• Manufacturing Equipment:Knowledge of the electrical mechanical andlogisticsequipment used in manufacturing; ability to safelyoperate maintainupdateand store them.

• Manufacturing Processes:Understanding ofexisting product manufacturing methodstechnologiesand processes; ability to execute plan manage andmonitorthe entire manufacturing process.

• Manufacturing Safety:Familiarity withmanufacturing safety; ability toidentifywork-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workersenvironmentand site.

• Manufacturing Standards Procedures and Policies:Strong awarenessof organizational standardsproceduresand policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan guide andmonitormanufacturing processes for compliance.

• Quality Management System (QMS):ExpertiseinQualityManagement Systems (QMS) functions features and capabilities; ability to design implement test andmaintainQuality Management Systems to consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory compliances.

• Lean Manufacturing:Knowledge ofthe philosophyprinciplesand implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking:Strong commandof the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Analytical Thinking:Solid grasp oftechniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability todeterminethe root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

• Degreeorequivalentexperiencedesired

• Very goodGerman (at least C1) andvery goodEnglish skills (at least B2).
