Sr. Program Mgr of Language Learning | Missionary Department

Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager of Language Learning will work with senior leaders (may include the Managing Director senior directors and General Authorities) in defining and articulating the impact of the designated program as well as identifying the path moving forward to meet the strategic objectives of the department.
This employment is a regular full-time two-year fixed term with opportunities to extend up to five years and potentially converting into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with project sponsor (may include the Managing Director senior directors and General Authorities) cross-functional teams and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope deliverables required resources work plan budget and timing for new initiatives.
- Manage program and project teams and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives to achieve designated objectives.
- Analyze evaluate and overcome program risks to achieve program results.
- Produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Develop and manage the budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field
- 12 years of experience in product management operations leadership or related field or related experience
- or an equivalent combination of education and experience (16 years total).
- Proven competence in leading complex cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional leadership time management facilitation and organizational skills
- Advanced experience with program evaluation.
Preferred; the following will be heavily considered:
- Experience in linguistics.
- Experience in language instruction.
- Demonstrated experience with successful change management.
- Preference given to those with program management experience.
