What this position entails

As a Product Designer at Milliman IntelliScript youll play a hands-on role in designing innovative solutions for our SaaS platforms (Irix Curv R&D and more). Youll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to create user-centered experiences that drive value for our customers. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of our products contribute to a growing design practice and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced technical environment.

What you will be doing

• Work through all phases of the design process from research and discovery to prototyping validation and final delivery
• Partner with Product Managers Engineers and other stakeholders to define requirements iterate on solutions and ensure high-quality outcomes
• Conduct user research gather feedback and translate insights into intuitive designs that solve real user problems
• Create wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
• Help maintain and evolve our design systems and processes for consistency and efficiency
• Champion user-centered design across the organization and advocate for best practices

What we need

• 5 years of relevant product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Customer-focused mindset and a passion for solving user problems

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is March 31 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings and one annual company meeting.

The overall salary range for this role is $93700 - $177675. For candidates residing in:

• Alaska California Connecticut Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey Pennsylvania Virginia Washington the District of Columbia New York City Newark San Jose or San Francisco the salary range is $107755 - $177675.
• All other locations the salary range is $93700 - $154500.

A combination of factors will be considered including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications etc.
