We are seeking a mission-driven community-focused clinical leader to develop launch and grow a new Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Center in Queens NY as part of our larger behavioral health program. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to build a high-quality family-centered outpatient clinic that responds to the needs of children adults and families in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and vision in the development and growth of a new outpatient mental health and SUD clinic
- Build supervise and support a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Establish clinical policies workflows and best practices in alignment with agency and regulatory standards
- Oversee case assignment and high-risk cases including clients with suicidal ideation
- Develop and oversee specialized treatment tracks including early childhood perinatal mental health SUD divorced families and anxiety
- Engage in community outreach build partnerships and develop programming responsive to community needs
- Ensure compliance with OMH OASAS and agency protocols while promoting person- and family-centered care
Qualifications:
- LCSW LMHC PsyD or PhD required
- Minimum seven years of clinical experience and three years in a leadership role
- Prior experience with OMH and/or OASAS licensed programs required
- CCBHC experience preferred
- Strong clinical and administrative skills
The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Candidate must have a strong commitment to community-based mission-driven work and have the ability to work professionally and sensitively in a trauma-informed environment. Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan with employee contribution sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and for full time employees health insurance. This full time position is based in Queens.
