Job Summary
Job Title: Director of Test Engineering
Location: El Segundo CA (Onsite)
Type: Full-Time
Role Summary:
Lead and manage test engineering for reactor systems including designing test setups executing test programs building infrastructure and delivering high-quality data to support engineering and regulatory decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role.

Role Summary:
Lead and manage test engineering for reactor systems including designing test setups executing test programs building infrastructure and delivering high-quality data to support engineering and regulatory decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end test campaigns (developmental qualification acceptance)
- Design and build test setups (bench to complex systems)
- Develop test plans procedures and reports
- Oversee test execution and supervise teams
- Build instrumentation & data acquisition systems
- Implement data management and automation workflows
- Establish standard testing methods and reusable infrastructure
- Build and lead a test engineering team
- Collaborate with engineering teams on test objectives
- 10 years in test engineering 3 years in leadership
- Hands-on experience with mechanical/thermal/fluid test systems
- Strong expertise in instrumentation and DAQ systems
- Experience writing detailed test plans and reports
- Proven ability to establish test processes and lead teams
- Bachelors in Mechanical Aerospace or related field
- Experience in aerospace defense or energy sectors
- Knowledge of testing standards (e.g. MIL-STD)
- Experience with thermal systems pressure testing or turbomachinery
- Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools
- Willing to work extended hours/weekends
- 100% onsite role
