MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interior and exterior maintenance associated with the general appearance of the Yard Office and Express Freight.
- Heavy janitorial cleaning raking leaves ground /building maintenance sweeping sidewalks warehouse interior cleaning company vehicle and occasionalpainting etc.
- Loads and unloads customers baggage in designated baggage/line cars and baggage kiosks
- Perform warehouse duties ensuring local freight is placed for delivery and transship freight is placed in correct outbound cars.
- Will assist in the securement of customer vehicles onto designated flatcars in accordance with company policies & procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- Summer Term: May to August (4 months)
- Must be at least 15 years old prior to starting date and enrolled in full-time school
- Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program entering or finishing full-time post-secondary studies in 2026
- Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
- Ability to work shift work and weekends
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Previous cleaning/labor experience an asset
- Self-motivated energetic enthusiastic and strong work ethic
- Works independently with little supervision
- Must be committed to Health and Safety
