Kinsley Power Systems one of the largest generator distributors and service providers in the northeast is seeking an Operations Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing overall supervision coordination parts warehouse and administration of the operations/service function in order to meet the objectives of the companys overall business plans and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day Operations for the assigned branch; provide backup support to other locations as needed
- Support the Operations Manager by leading Operations staff (Field Service Technicians and service support) including hiring coaching training and performance management
- Drive operational efficiency productivity and adherence to company policies procedures and safety standards
- Develop monitor and improve workflows and processes to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support after-hours emergency service operations
- Analyze branch operations workflows and schedules to optimize performance
- Support financial performance by assisting with budgeting P&L review reporting and annual business planning
- Oversee parts warehouse and logistics activities including receiving shipping staging and supplier coordination
- Support field technicians with parts lookups compatibility quotes and inventory availability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree plus two years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Great Plains software experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on superior customer service.
- Ability to travel including overnight stays to other branch locations for training and support as needed.
- Availability on a 24/7 basis for response in an emergency services business
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure and to multi-task.
