About The Role

The Insurance Procurement & Compliance Manager will support the Risk Management Team in the management of the organizations comprehensive insurance and risk management program. This position will focus on strategic procurement of corporate and project specific policies evaluation of vendor insurance requirements as well as supporting the identification and assessment of risks that could impede the reputation safety security or financial success of the organization.

What Youll Do

  • Assist Risk Management leadership with the procurement renewal and ongoing administration of corporate insurance programs.
  • Collect data and manage policy underwriting for special projects and land development bonds. Actively participate in strategic meetings.
  • Partner with insurance brokers and carriers to negotiate coverage terms limits endorsements deductibles self-insurance retentions and pricing.
  • Review binders and policies for accuracy in coverage and invoicing; including policy language premiums endorsements and retentions.
  • Provide comprehensive reviews of insurance and indemnity language to identify and mitigate risks for both vendor and joint venture agreements.
  • Create update and maintain Schedule A Insurance requirements for company vendors.
  • Support efforts of Risk Management leadership to write revise and update Companys policies and procedures and contract documents.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions with Company personnel regarding insurance terminology and processes construction insurance requirements and land development insurance requirements.

What Were Looking For

  • College degree preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant risk management experience.
  • Time management proficiency and ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to operate independently with limited supervision including follow-up with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive progress and manage time and priorities.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Ability to create meaningful business impact analyses through reports and presentations.
