J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and an M.L.S. or equivalent from an ALA-accredited program;
Minimum seven (7) years of law library experience with at least five (5) years of progressive administrative experience in an academic law library demonstrating your ability to lead teams and manage complex initiatives successfully;
Deep understanding of contemporary trends in legal education library science and information technology with vision for how these intersect to serve diverse learning communities;
Broad knowledge of library operations including digital resources emerging technologies legal research pedagogy and innovative service delivery models;

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction for library services championing innovative approaches to information delivery and supporting the schools mission of educational excellence;
Manage library operations and budget to maximize impact and ensure sustainable growth of collections and services;
Teach advanced legal research and collaborate with library colleagues to deliver excellent instruction that prepares students for practice;
Share your expertise by teaching additional courses that align with the law schools needs and your scholarly interests;
Develop innovative programs and resources that empower faculty research and enhance scholarly productivity;
Collaborate with other department heads in supporting and advising the Dean;
Perform other duties as assigned.
