The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Crystal Springs this role youll be at the heart of our commitment to excellence helping ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and play a key role in delivering reliable energy solutions to communities around the world. Shift & Schedule: The position will be based at our Crystal Springs MS production plant and will support the team in line with shift schedule for the weekdays Sunday -Thursday inclusive. Current shift hours are from 10:30pm to 7:00am. These hours may change and may work overtime either outside these hours or on weekend days. The successful candidate should be able to assist his team anytime to reach the production targets.

How youll make an impact

Develop and maintain inspection plans for raw materials and final products
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Create and update company inspection reports
Calibrate and verify testing equipment functionality
Identify and report quality anomalies to the Quality Engineer
Support production teams by ensuring adherence to operating procedures
Analyze technical drawings and interpret specifications
Draft reports and compile data to support quality initiatives
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines

Your Background

Associate degree or diploma in electrical/electronic technology or industrial electrical testing
Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician or Inspector
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and modern quality control practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP (or equivalent)
Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
