Lead the design execution and sustainment of QAPI initiatives that improve clinical outcomes operational performance and patient safety
Translate organizational Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs) into structured measurable improvement plans
Manage complex projects from concept to long-term sustainment
Conduct Root Cause Analyses (RCA) Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA) and other safety methodologies
Analyze dashboards trend data and national benchmarks (e.g. Vizient Leapfrog) to identify gaps and prioritize action
Facilitate interdisciplinary improvement teams and ensure accountability and follow-through

Hypoglycemia Management in Insulin-Treated Patients
K-Card Implementation & Optimization for reliable communication
Verge Deployment to strengthen real-time regulatory readiness
Hospital Mobility Program to reduce harm and improve outcomes
Primary responsibility for Leapfrog survey completion
Serve as the primary coordinator for the multidisciplinary Tumor Board
Manage scheduling case preparation materials distribution attendance tracking and documentation
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g. Commission on Cancer if applicable)
Partner closely with oncology pathology radiology and clinical documentation teams
Maintain secure well-organized workflows
Conduct routine survey readiness rounds across clinical and support areas
Identify risks in real time and partner with leaders on corrective action
Educate staff on regulatory expectations and continuous readiness
Support mock surveys accreditation preparation and document review
Additional Job Description
Clinical hospital background strongly preferred
CPHQ CPPS or similar certification
Experience with hospital accreditation and regulatory standards
Knowledge of cancer program workflows and/or Tumor Board coordination
Epic experience
Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration Public Health or a related healthcare field
24 years of experience in healthcare quality patient safety or performance improvement
Working knowledge of QAPI methodologies (PDSA Lean Six Sigma)
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and manage confidential information
