DescriptionThe Director of Institutional Communications serves as the operational lead for Georgia Military Colleges Communications Office responsible for coordinating and executing institutional communication efforts. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Communications & Government Affairs this position ensures institutional messaging publications and visual assets are produced with consistency quality and alignment to established priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Institutional Communications Operations
- Publications & Content Production Oversight
- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Brand Enablement & Messaging Alignment
- Visual Media Promotional Assets & Production Support

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 1 years in a role involving organization coordination and oversight of projects or staff
- Strong organizational skills and project coordination skills
- Understanding of communications workflows and production processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong writing and internal/external communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with study in Mass Communications or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a communications-related field with supervisory or operational leadership responsibilities
- Experience leading or coordinating a communications team
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with photography and videography coordination
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
