Emerson is searching for a Manager Detroit Water Site Support for our Power & Water Solutions team in Novi MI!

Power & Water Solutions is an industry-leading controls automation company that focuses on providing applications in the renewable (solar hydro wind) fossil (natural gas and coal) power generation and water treatment plants sectors. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide on site leadership in the Novi MI office supporting daily operational needs.
- Oversee work assignments and development of a team of local site engineers.
- Deliver high quality customer support including system troubleshooting field services system startups upgrades and small project execution.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote satisfaction and long term business growth.
- Develop training and growth plans to ensure team members are technically and professionally prepared to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Manager of Detroit Water Projects to forecast and staff site support aligned with project schedules.
- Support estimating efforts and resource planning for future customer support needs.
- Lead effective solutions to customer challenges that strengthen Emersons position within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Partner with customers to collaboratively resolve technical contractual and warranty matters while balancing business goals and service excellence.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in engineering technical discipline or equivalent.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in field service project management or similar.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time domestically.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas such as E F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT) H-1 H-2 L-1 B J or TN or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Demonstrated experience in project management and people leadership
- Control systems experience Ovation strongly preferred
- Previous experience in systems integration
- Experience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment Industry
- PE PMP or related professional certifications.
