This role will be responsible for overseeing operations across Luci The Douglas Club Meetings & Events and In Room Dining.
About the Role
Our Food & Beverage Manager will be instrumental in building a thriving workplace culture that has a strong focus on developing their team. You will manage and support your teams with daily activities and ensure consistent levels of service are met to the highest quality. You will also work closely with the commercial team to formulate the F&B strategy for the hotel and be the driving force behind our financial results. Specifically you will be responsible for:
- Be operationally hands on to manage daily Food and Beverage operations
- A strong Customer focused approach to service
- Lead a team ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
- Use your knowledge of local trends to plan menus and create action plans to achieve financial targets
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure synergy between the food dining and service concept across all outlets
- Optimise sales and contain costs identifying any areas for action
- Understand and own your a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities through promotions
- Resolve conflicts and issues where necessary
- Strong communication with the hotel team to ensure success as a wider team
- Train and develop team members to create a strong line of succession planning
- Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement
What are we looking for
- Experience in management roles across key F&B services including: meeting and events
- Strong leadership skills in hotel operations
- Demonstrated success in the Food and Beverage industry and an ability to meet financial targets
- A service orientated individual who is a passionate food and wine enthusiast dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- High-level of market awareness with an entrepreneurial mind
- Prompt and systematic decision-making skills with analytical power
