Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to join their Dallas Texas team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare planning/ design documents in appropriate engineering discipline
- Coordinate work of assistant associate professional staff and technical staff
- Perform process design calculations prepare cost estimates and use economic analyses for comparison of alternatives
- Develop project scope of work; develop project schedule; prepare project initiation paperwork; manage budget reviews and schedule progress reports
- Coordinate projects with other teams; perform/coordinate design aspects of projects; direct team members on design tasks; maintain project records (correspondence drawings and files); coordinate with clients; attend client meetings
- Manage the preparation of technical reports memos and summaries to effectively communicate findings to clients/internal teams
- Serve as project manager
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time within budget and meet client expectations
- Assist with marketing / business development and prepare project proposals
Requirements:
- Bachelors or masters degree in environmental or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5 years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience specifically with water / wastewater treatment or environmental design
- PE License
- Proficient with engineering tools software and methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD
Salary is commensurate with experience.
