Job Summary
Operate robotic systems for a diverse range of tasks including teleoperation using VR equipment and controllers.
Demonstrate tasks to robots for learning purposes and collect data to enhance robotic capabilities.
Collaborate with engineers and researchers to refine robotic operations and improve performance.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Provide detailed feedback and reports on robot performance and any issues encountered.
Assist in the setup calibration and maintenance of robotic systems and workstations.
Travel up to 25% of the time for off-site testing and data collection as needed.
Requirements
We are seeking a creative curious and detail-oriented individual who is excited about teaching robots new skills. Comfort with computers and a genuine interest in robotics are important. Prior experience with robotics Linux or command-line tools is not required though you will develop these skills on the job. Strong physical dexterity hand-eye coordination and familiarity with video games are likely to be advantageous.
This role requires regular use of the Apple Vision Pro VR headset.
