What youll be doing
The content team at CIBCs Investors Edge is responsible for all client-facing and internal content at Investors Edge CIBCs direct investing offering. As a Writer and Editor Co-op youll write content for Investors Edge marketing and communications projects and youll help with platform content updates as needed.
At CIBC we enable the work environmentto bemostoptimalfor you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $52890 to $68440.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors including the candidates skills experience and job-related knowledge as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

Important information:
You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for a role.

Communication - Writeclear and accessible copy for marketing tactics including ads landing pages in-app messages push notifications and emails that comply with CIBC voice and tone guidelines. Tailor messages fordifferentsegments whilekeepingbrand consistency andfollowing regulatoryandcomplianceguidelines.
Content creation Write and edit various UX and marketing communications while following editorial standards.
Managing databases Work to maximize our questions & answers database write edit and/or proofread questions and manage translations (third party) clean up folder structure upload updates to the system. Learn from and leverage data research and usability testing to iterate on copy and improve comprehension and conversion.
Relationship management Collaborate with team members and various stakeholders to accomplish our goals.
