You will provide architectural leadership governance expertise and modernization strategy for all EUC platforms and services including Intune SCCM and Tachyon across Windows mobile (iOS) and video conferencing devices. The Architect partners closely with peer IT groups and our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to deliver a secure-by-design modern and cost-effective device management architecture. Operating in a shared-governance model with our MSP you will guide day-to-day EUC service expectations serve as an escalation point for incidents and drive measurable quality improvements. The ideal candidate has broad and deep EUC technical knowledge supporting business objectives as well as experience leading a transition to an Responsibilities:EUC Strategy Architecture Enablement & GovernanceOwn the EUC architectural roadmap reference architectures and standards spanning Intune SCCM Tachyon MDM HP device management video conferencing device management and cellular carrier enterprise framework and standards for device lifecycle (procure-to-retire) configuration baselines image strategy and app deliveryaligning with Hardware Support and the with Infrastructure teams that manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to ensure endpoint profile and app-delivery standards align across physical and virtual emerging EUC technologies in alignment with business service ownership of EUC platforms and architectural standards governance policies and operational handoffs; ensure clean pilot to production transitions with runbooks/ the device management roadmap and drive continuous iOS mobile device strategy via MDM cellular carrier management and compliance controls; advise on rugged/vehicle-mounted/OT device approaches (owned by other teams).Define governance for meeting room and collaboration devices (Microsoft Teams Rooms and native Cisco endpoints).Security & Identity AlignmentEmbed secure-by-design principles in EUC architecture; align with Information Security on Zero Trust controls and endpoint protection and oversee BitLocker and Defender for Endpoint standards in partnership with the MSP and Information EUC designs align with Entra ID/Active Directory identity patterns (e.g. Conditional Access policies device identities privileged access boundaries).Coordinate EUC integration and policy dependencies with tools managed by Information Security (e.g. Defender for Endpoint Zscaler).Service Excellence & Vendor GovernanceProvide technical oversight of the MSP for EUC services: review architectures validate SOPs/runbooks drive RCA/prevention and ensure SLA/SLO meaningful EUC KPIs/OKRs (e.g. provisioning time patch compliance experience scores incident MTTR) in coordination with the changes to IT and business EUC performance optimization across all platforms including reporting on Digital Employee Experience (DEX) scoring and telemetryOversee shiftleft practices and servicequality improvements with regular stakeholder/MSP cadence to ensure alignment and outcomesAbout You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:10 years in End User Computing architecture (Intune SCCM Tachyon cellular management Cisco Control Hub MTR device management Active Directory Entra ID and Azure).3 years Intune and/or SCCM Lead/ArchitectExperience designing Windows provisioning at scale (Intune Windows 365) including application packaging and deliveryExperience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) including cellular carrier managementProven experience in MSP shared governance: L2/L3 escalation leadership RCA SOP/KB development and driving continuous with shifting between vendors while maintaining service levelsProven success leading complex cross-functional projectsStrong understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID (Device Identity Conditional Access GPO to Intune migration)Familiarity with BitLocker administrationFamiliarity with hybrid directory environments (on-prem AD Entra ID)Experience with vendor management and technical supportExcellent communication skills; ability to translate complex architecture for execs stakeholders and end users; lead monthly enablement -functional leadershipAutomation scripting and reporting (e.g. PowerShell Graph API Power BI).Strong problem-solving and documentation skillsResults-OrientedPreferred:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).Experience introducing DEX (Digital Employee Experience) analytics tooling and self-healing automation driving business with Zscaler and Microsoft Defender for EndpointExperience collaborating with Infrastructure teams on RDS/AVD image/profile/app delivery with Windows Autopilot strategy and deploymentExperience with on-prem to cloud migrations and architecture developmentFamiliarity with Azure and RDSMicrosoft Certifications similar to MD-102 Endpoint Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Teams Rooms (MTR) governance and device lifecycle knowledge including Cisco Control Hub device managementBackground working in manufacturing or multi-site environments and with MSP operating Company:Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
