Job Summary
The CT Technologist prepares and performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures while ensuring patient safety comfort and high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role requires technical proficiency attention to detail and effective communication with patients and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures
Provide patient care and monitoring throughout imaging exams
Ensure proper positioning imaging protocols and radiation safety
Operate CT equipment according to established policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with radiologists and other medical staff
Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures performed
Physical Demands
Requires finger dexterity visual acuity hearing and speaking ability
Frequent sitting walking stooping/bending lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs reaching above shoulder level and prolonged static gripping
Occasional standing kneeling squatting twisting and carrying up to 25 lbs
Infrequent pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs of force
Work Environment
Minimum Qualifications
Education Certification & Licensure
Active Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license required
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience
Minimum one (1) year of CT experience preferred
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with medical staff
