Salary Range: $85000.00 - $115000.00 CAD based on experience skills and capabilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct technical analysis using risk assessment principles (station failure pipeline failure material failures repair vs. replace scenarios operating issues etc.) including analysis using the Leakage Model.

  • Provide design support and Project management for station and gas main projects.

  • Provide technical support for complex projects (design layout material selection cost estimates capital requisitioning material ordering scheduling etc.).

  • Responsible to work with internal/external stakeholders (Engineering LVC municipalities developers etc.) to complete load analysis on pipelines and to execute crossing agreements.

  • Support Regional Operations frontline field staff with customer station configurations deviation approval coordination with Stations Engineering and submission of red line drawings.

  • Complete and/or coordinate the writing of Procedures of Work (POW).

  • Facilitate capital budget submissions (design costing justification).

  • Primary liaison with Stations DOE Engineering and System Improvement.

  • Coordinates tasks and priorities for the Drafter/Estimator team to support project delivery.

  • Prioritization of work and assignment of work.

  • Ensure timeliness completeness and accuracy of work.

  • Provides support in issue identification and resolution

  • Identify and coordinate any necessary training needs.

  • Investigate any cost savings initiatives.

  • Works collaboratively with crossfunctional regional teams to ensure alignment and delivery.

Who You Are:

  • University Degree in Engineering with four (4) or more years of engineering experience with professional engineering designation.

  • Registered Engineering Intern (EIT)

  • Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time and meet defined timelines.

  • Capable of quickly learning and adapting to new PC applications and systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.

  • Ability to influence without authority.

  • Organized and strategic thinker.

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred:

  • Mechanical Chemical or Civil engineering discipline preferred.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (.) Ontario.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with travel to regional offices and field sites.

  • A valid G class Ontario drivers license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
