This team works very well together and communicates effectively throughout the day to ensure successful completion of cases. We are a Trauma Hospital so we do many Orthopedic cases and spine cases! About the Job:

The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A radiographer performs radiographic procedures and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by or by the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

What Youll Do:

• Performs radiography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Radiography Practice Standards and the ASRT Code of Ethics
• Understands and adheres to departmental exam protocols
• Actively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the APIE model.
• Performs venipuncture
• Prepares administers and documents activities related to contrast

Who You Are:

• Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training from an AMA approved school
  • Twenty-four month clinical internship required
• Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Required
• ARRT certification Required
  • ARRT eligible candidates will be considered for hire with the expectation that certification will be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
• Experience with Epic Preferred
