- Conducting detailed analyses of operational data to identify trends inefficiencies and opportunities for performance improvements
- Developing and applying mathematical models and statistical techniques to evaluate decision alternatives and optimize resource allocation
- Preparing comprehensive reports and technical documentation that summarize analytical findings and support strategic planning initiatives
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to validate analytical models and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with contractual and DoD standards

Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in an operations research analyst role
- Bachelors degree in engineering or engineering discipline computer science or IT discipline or technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to evaluate operational performance and identify efficiency improvements in line with DoD requirements
- Proficient in using statistical and optimization software tools to model complex systems perform sensitivity analyses and support decision-making processes
- Skilled in developing detailed analytical reports and presentations that translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as MATLAB R or Python for data mining and simulation to enhance research outcomes
- Experience with operations research methodologies (e.g. linear programming decision analysis and simulation modeling) to optimize system processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced analytical environment
