POSITION OVERVIEW
The ABF 50/50 Raffle Supervisor role is a crucial part of the Atlanta Braves Foundation fundraising team helping to manage all aspects of the Foundations largest fundraising campaign each year. This position is responsible for hiring training and managing an engaging and effective raffle sales team of 20-30 PT game staff. The ABF 5050 Supervisor will provide consistent communication and administrative support sales training scheduling and oversight of the raffle sales team during shifts as well as assists with game-day related duties for the 50/50 Raffle. The Supervisor leads the raffle sales team during all Braves home games and other events as required. The Supervisor will be responsible for troubleshooting customer service and support and ensuring the success of the 50/50 Raffle through everything the baseball season throws our way!
The ideal candidate for this role will have fun working with people and is a fantastic coach. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Assist with recruitment selection training and performance management of Raffle Team members
- Effectively manage Raffle Team members by coaching team on successful selling techniques training proactive communication clear expectations exploring motivational incentives for sellers and leading by example in selling on game days where possible
- Collaborate with Raffle Team and Development Specialist to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas to maximize and grow donation revenue
- Track and use key metrics to evaluate sellers program trends projections reporting and overall best practices to grow sales
- Oversee all operational aspects of 50/50 Raffle program including scheduling troubleshooting equipment inventory management location assignments and reporting
- Effectively communicate and deliver the most up-to-date information regarding Atlanta Braves Foundation programming to Raffle Ambassadors seasonal associates and fans
- Represent the Atlanta Braves Foundation mission positively by being professional and knowledgeable on Atlanta Braves Foundation programming to both staff and patrons
- Respond to requests from management and Specialist in a timely manner; attend bi-weekly in-person meetings with Development Specialist
- Attend additional Atlanta Braves Foundation community events and activities as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum two years of experience in sales customer service coaching or people-focused role that required initiating conversations maintaining engagement from colleagues and clients alike problem-solving selling tracking trends finding creative solutions.
- Must be 18 years or older by Opening Day
- Experience hiring managing and inspiring a team of individuals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task work effectively under pressure and follow up on issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; be self-directed demonstrate initiative employ strong organizational skills and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel Google worksheet and learn 50/50 technology
- Proven passion and ability to deliver best-in-class service to internal and external clients
- Ability to work non-standard hours including evenings weekends holidays and overtime as needed
- Ideal candidate will be available to work most (75-81) Braves Home Games during the 2026 season with additional games in potential playoff scenarios. Alternatively we would consider a job split between two excellent candidates.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and lift a minimum of 20 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of experience working at Truist Park or equivalent experience. Previous experience with 50/50 raffle sales or creative fundraising campaigns a bonus!
- Reliable trustworthy dependable and flexible
- A charismatic personality exuding a positive attitude that demonstrates initiative approachability and friendliness
- Enthusiasm and high energy personality with ability to establish rapport with others and build strong interpersonal relationships
- Sales skills in a group setting
- Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making skills
- Responds well to coaching and feedback
