Position Summary
Woodstock Union High School is seeking aJV Girls Lacrosse Coachfor the upcoming spring season. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about girls athletics player development and fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practices focused on skill development teamwork and sportsmanship
- Coach and supervise JV girls lacrosse games and competitions
- Support the overall girls lacrosse program in collaboration with the Varsity Coach
- Promote academic achievement personal growth and good citizenship among student-athletes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes
- Communicate effectively with players families athletic staff and school administration
- Adhere to school district and Vermont Principals Association (VPA) policies
Qualifications
- Prior lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Experience working with high schoolaged students strongly preferred
- Strong organizational communication and leadership skills
- Ability to model positive behavior and serve as a role model for student-athletes
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of required background check and coaching certifications
