Job Summary

Description

  • Tracking and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to milestones outlined in DoD contracts
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating procurement activities to ensure sustained workflow operations without disruptions
  • Preparing detailed production reports documenting resource allocation material usage and scheduling challenges for management review
  • Coordinating with engineering logistics and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production timelines
  • Implementing production control best practices and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with industry and contractual standards

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in a production control clerk role
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage production schedules timelines and material availability ensuring alignment with project needs and DoD requirements
  • Skilled in utilizing logistical tracking systems and advanced software tools to monitor inventory levels coordinate procurement and streamline workflow operations
  • Proficient in preparing and maintaining detailed records of production activities including material usage workflow issues and resource allocation
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with automated production control systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools such as SAP or Oracle
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate production timelines and identify optimization strategies for enhanced operational efficiency
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement best practices
  • Knowledge of DoD compliance standards and experience ensuring adherence to contractual requirements

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
