What Youll do

As a Care Partner you can expect a range of responsibilities and tasks. Here are some general expectations:

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe document and report changes in the elders health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness anxiety or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation active listening and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders their families other team members and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.

What Youll Bring

• You will bring a willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• You will bring good verbal communication and the ability to read write and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.
• You will bring licensing documentation (if required by your state) and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You will bring the ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
