As we continue to grow we are looking for a skilled Aged Care and Disability Services Manager to join our leadership team and be a key member of a Tasmanian business delivering exceptional care to our clients.
This is a fixed term position from 9 June 2026 to 30 April 2027 for coverage of parental leave on a full time basis working Monday- Friday 9am-5pm in our Kings Meadows office.
Role Overview:
The Aged Care and Disability Services Manager is responsible for the day to day running of Aged Care & NDIS Services. The role is pivotal in driving service operations and business growth providing leadership and supporting change management and continuous improvement in line with ongoing aged care and disability reforms.
The Aged Care and Disability Services Manager will ensure the delivery of high quality customer centric care and services within the clients home and community. The role involves ensuring the delivery of person-centred case management in accordance with Community Care TASMANIAS policies and procedures program guidelines regulatory frameworks and best practice guidelines.
This role is responsible for ensuring Aged Care & NDIS operations coordination facilitation monitoring and provision of high-quality service delivery are provided to our Aged Care & NDIS service users.
Key Responsibilities (Selection Criteria):
Strategy and Planning Ensuring all programs are fully compliant with contractual and legislative requirements and are delivered in compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards NDIS Practice Standards and other relevant legislation.
Leadership and Team Management Providing strategic input to the Executive Leadership Team regarding operational changes challenges and requirements. Supporting team leaders to mentor their teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement including the management of workloads.
A focus of growth Interpretation and understanding of funding guidelines and quality principles to support positive service outcomes and business growth.
Internal stakeholder engagement ensure that complaints and incidents are reported and handled appropriately communicating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a person centred holistic approach to support.
External Stakeholder engagement/management Represent CCT at relevant industry and community events Identifying new opportunities for growth through
existing and new strategic networks and partnerships.
Quality and Compliance overseeing incident management oversight in conjunction with the Quality & Assurance Team and ensuring that staff performance is in accordance with organisational policy and practice.
Financial Management Manage budgets resources and staffing to ensure the efficient operation of the Aged Care and Disability Service addition to Providing oversight of the NDIA Portal working with NDIS Coordinators regarding endorsements and participant funding.
Operational efficiency and technology overseeing the implementation and advancement of technology solutions to enhance service delivery intake management and staffing resources.

Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification with proven experience managing Aged Care Packages or comparable industry experience.
Experience:
Previous experience in providing strong leadership & management skills with the ability to build capability and support staff dealing with case work challenges.
Experience dealing with complex case management matters including effective risk assessment.
Judgement analytical skills and ability to understand and apply legislation.
Experience managing competing priorities.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams with experience in managing staff performance and fostering a positive work environment.
Deep understanding of employee engagement talent management and leadership development.
Demonstrated ability to drive cultural and organisational change.
Ability to work collaboratively with the team to understand the strategic direction of Community Care Tasmania.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of Federal and Tasmanian Acts Regulations Codes of Practice and legislative instruments that relate to Aged Care and NDIS.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions and take action in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients families staff and external stakeholders.
Computer literacy including Excel database management CRMs and reporting of metrics. Experience with Employment Hero & Nightingale would be an advantage.

Attractive salary & salary packaging This position attracts a pro-rata annual salary of $150000.00. With additional salary packaging benefits up to $15900 plus a meal & accommodation package of up to $2649
