Job Summary

Position: Long-Term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher/ClericalLocation: Community EducationAssignment Dates: 03/09/26- 07/31/26 Dates are subject to changeREPORTS TO: Director and Assistant Director of Community Education JOB GOAL: To assist in the coordination of the Community Education Early Childhood Programs to ensure proper instruction and activities for RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform various instructional clerical and other related duties to aid in meeting the objectives of the program including the following: daily program for the class to meet the needs of the daily routine of activities play time meals and staff meetings and ongoing loving care and attention to each child and promote a healthy self-esteem in each staff including Early Childhood Teacher Aides and junior for and participate in childrens evaluations and parent conferences as a positive professional attitude and serve as a positive role model for other related activities as required or and adhere to all guidelines set necessary problems and/or information to co-teacher or and complete all required in to cover classroom staff : Childhood Teacher Certification or completion of a three-credit Child Growth and Development course or equivalent (college preferred) working with age appropriate students in a school of classroom preparation and record keeping school experience aptitude or competence for assigned alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable by the Director of Community :Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in writing by the Program Supervisor.
