Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Global Services Specialist Learning Knowledge Management & HR Purchasing.
The Global Services Specialist will be a key contributor in delivering best in class HR services across Learning Knowledge Management andover timeHR Purchasing within our Global HR Shared Services organization.
In the early stages this role will be primarily centered on Learning and Knowledge Management serving as the go to process expert coordination lead and governance champion for our global platforms and user communities. The ideal candidate will thrive in supporting global learning administration while also shaping and enhancing our HR knowledge base to better serve teams worldwide.
As the function grows the Specialist will have the opportunity to expand into HR Purchasing developing skills in procurement operations vendor coordination and purchasing workflow management.
Long term as the service tower matures this role will evolve to include broader responsibilitiessuch as operational oversight and cross service coordinationpositioning the Specialist as a central player in our global HR service delivery model.
This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
As a Global Services Specialist Learning Knowledge Management & HR Purchasing you will:
Learning & Knowledge Management
Partner with global Learning & Development leaders Site Learning Coordinators and HR Technology teams to enhance and support our Workday learning platform and deliver impactful digital learning solutions across the organization.
Manage and optimize learning content assignments and data quality ensuring accurate enterprise level reporting and delivering high quality user support to HR teams and people managers.
Protect data and system integrity by upholding strong operating procedures and consistent administration practices across all learning systems.
Develop and communicate user friendly materials that empower employees and HR teams to make effective efficient use of our learning technologies and tools.
Lead and streamline knowledge governance by organizing knowledge repositories and maintaining HR documentation policies and reference materialsensuring they remain up to date accurate and accessible as a reliable single source of truth.
Serve as the central coordination point for knowledge governance providing timely support and reinforcing consistent global standards.
Oversee change management processes for the knowledge repository ensuring updates comply with governance requirements and organizational protocols.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators including updated SOPs retired/obsolete materials and learning analytics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Champion digital innovation including AI powered search tools and agents automated workflows high quality e content and AI generated guides to enhance the usability and efficiency of our learning and knowledge ecosystem.
Provide onboarding and ongoing training for HR teams on learning platforms knowledge management processes digital tools and best practices to drive adoption and capability building.
Role Expansion: Growing Responsibilities Across HR Purchasing & Operational Excellence
As the Global Services Specialist develops in the role responsibilities will expand beyond Learning and Knowledge Management to include broader operational ownership and HR purchasing support.
You will build expertise in end to end HR purchasing processes ensuring strong system integrity supporting vendor and contract workflows and managing purchase orders goods receipts and payments with accuracy and timeliness. Collaboration with Finance and procurement stakeholders will be key as you help resolve issues streamline workflows and contribute to purchasing metrics and reporting.
Over time you will take on wider operational responsibilities across all service areas helping monitor performance support goal setting and contribute to ongoing service enhancements. This includes providing oversight of day to day workflows coordinating issue resolution and supporting efforts to standardize optimize and harmonize processes across the global HR service tower.
As the function grows you will play an active role in continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives helping shape more efficient user friendly and future ready HR services.
What skills and experiences are we looking for
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Human Resources Finance or related field.
5 years experience in HR services/operations with exposure to learning management in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment required additional exposure to other activities especially purchasing a plus
Meticulous attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of learning content data updates and governance documentation with high accuracy.
Proven track record in stakeholder management & customer-focused mindset ensuring stakeholders feel supported and heard. This includes:
Effective engagement communication and collaboration across internal and external partners
Asks clear targeted questions to fully understand needs and deliver aligned outcomes.
Adapts service approach based on the request or situation to provide appropriate high quality support.
Demonstrated effective communication with stakeholders in multiple countries where English may not be the primary language ensuring clarity mutual understanding and operational alignment.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with digital HR tools and learning management systems (Workday Service Now and O365 applications preferred).
Demonstrated experience in team leadership (direct supervision or through project leadership) project management and process improvement.
Fluency in English essential; additional language capability an advantage.
