Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Rep & Account Specialist
LOCATION: Santiago

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
This inside sales role contributes to the growth of the College division by driving acquisition of new customers deepening distribution penetration within current customers and providing exemplary customer service and account management within a defined territory. The fundamental responsibility of the role is to deliver on the divisional business plan within their doing so incumbents must effectively translate business plans into account specific tactics to grow annual sales revenue and achieve their annual delivered volume goal.
Incumbents sell in a consultative manner using recognition and affiliation programs to assist customers in addressing key business issues such as graduation rate student retention alumni participation and brand execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • New customer acquisition and opportunity development through inside sales. Developing relationships with prospects within the academic and athletic departments on college campuses.
  • Current customer expansion and account management. Developing broad based relationships and a thorough understanding of the customers business to position Jostens as a strategic resource
  • Territory planning performance assessment and administrative responsibilities to ensure Jostens executes effectively for the customer
  • Lead the planning and execution of the consumer promotional marketing plan within a defined territory.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS: Note that (i) computer literacy and working-level skill with the basic MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook Explorer) (ii) good verbal and written communication skills (iii) good interpersonal skills and (iv) the ability to work well both individually and in a team environment are default requirements for all Jostens exempt and salaried nonexempt employees.
Required:
  • Minimum 1 year direct sales experience including experience with business to business customer acquisition and account management
  • Fluent in English Required to Speak Read and Write fluently in English
  • Advanced consultative sales skills through phone email and online platforms.
  • Ability to build relationships virtually.
  • Ability to successfully and effectively manage the balance between sales service and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with customers and internal team members
  • Strong computer competence with high proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and internet familiarity
  • Business and financial acumen and skill regarding profit and loss planning/forecasting budgeting and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
