Title III STARBASE Summer Enrichment Program
5 Full Days at Hanscom Air Force Base
Teachers/Chaperone
Dates: July 20-24 2026
Time: 7:45am-3:00pm
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts ESL teacher certification and SEI endorsement.
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents andadministrators.
- Monitor student safety on school premises and on school related field trips.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment of Grade 5 ELD 1-3 students for the STARBASE program.
- Manage reminders for parents about the program including phone calls and emails.
- Attend 5 full days at STARBASE program located at Hanscom Air Force Base.
- Arrive 15 minutes before bus pick up and stay until all students have been picked up each day.
- Chaperone and facilitate instruction as needed for Grade 5 ELD 1-3 students.
- Complete security clearance paperwork for on-site military base.
- Perform other related activities as required.
Duration: Total of five 5 7-hour days at Hanscom Air Force Base
Teacher/Chaperone Total 50 hours Flat Rate: $1850
Funding Source: Title III
All positions are subject to student enrollment and grant availability.
