Job Summary
SIFMA is currently looking for a Summer Intern. An internship at SIFMA gives candidates hands-on experience working on substantive and challenging projects while collaborating with experts in the financial services industry and public policy arena.
Throughout the nine-week program each intern will be assigned specific projects to be completed by the programs end and for which they will receive authorship credits.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree; Finance or Public Policy coursework highly desirable.
- Demonstration of excellent clerical organizational time management and written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical skills including a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database use and functionality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks/workload.
- Demonstrates professional demeanor.
- Commitment to provide superior customer service with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside clients.
- Shows work effectiveness persistency and commitment.

Hourly rate: $18/hour
