Job Summary

A real estate company is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple real estate entities. This role is responsible for managing banking cash flow multi-entity bookkeeping accounts payable and receivable payroll budgeting compliance and detailed financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will bring strong real estate accounting experience and the ability to provide accurate portfolio-level financial insights to leadership.

Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing accounting operations across multiple real estate entities
Managing banking relationships cash flow and account reconciliations
Handling accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll
Preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
Managing budgets forecasts and variance analysis
Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
Supporting leadership with accurate portfolio-level financial reporting

Ideal Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
CPA preferred
4 years of progressive accounting experience including multi-entity management
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
Experience in real estate accounting required
Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills
