Your new role

The Supporting Families team delivers whole family assessment and intervention for families who are in need of support with complex needs. The team uses restorative practise and works with families using strength based principles to bring about sustained change. A Supporting Families practitioner will hold a case load of families practitioners work with families to complete a holistic whole family assessment and work towards developing an agreed family plan. Practitioners act as lead professionals and will be responsible for coordinating a multi-agency plan with the family.

What youll need to succeed

Candidates for this role require excellent assessment and planning skills. Candidates must be able to work across the City of Southend in family homes schools and in the community the work is flexible with an expectation of out of hours working . Candidates will be require to build excellent relationships with the families they support offering direct work to adults and children as well working respectfully with professionals . Supporting Families Practitioners are expected to maintain case recordings in a timely and sensitive manner using analytical skills
