Job Summary

A modern acute care hospital in Loudoun County VA is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to lead day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department. This role oversees staffing workflow and clinical operations while partnering with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses to ensure safe compassionate and high-quality patient care.

The organization is a 120 bed acute care facility recognized for advanced technology a patient-first culture and a strong commitment to treating patients and team members with respect and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department

• Ensure appropriate staffing through effective collaboration with House Supervisors and Charge Nurses

• Support delivery of safe patient-centered behavioral health services

• Promote a culture of safety compassion and clinical excellence

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies procedures and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes and departmental goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

• 2 years of leadership experience as a Nurse Manager Supervisor or Clinical Team Lead

• Leadership experience must be within a Behavioral Health unit in an acute care setting

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 30 days of hire

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Required within 30 days of hire
