Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) 13.50 per hour

The team splits their time between age-dedicated playrooms and a wonderful large outdoor space that is used throughout the day. Practitioners are expected to be actively involved in play routines observations and planning with time structured around childrens needs. This is a hands-on role where practitioners are trusted to run their key group confidently and contribute to the wider room routine.

Before You Apply

  • This role requires a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Applicants must have recent experience working in a day nursery or early years setting.
  • This position is not suitable for unqualified candidates or those new to early years practice.

What Youll Need

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Confidence working independently within a room
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Act as key person for a group of children supporting learning care and development
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Complete observations assessments and learning records accurately and on time
  • Support daily routines including meals sleep and transitions
  • Maintain safeguarding health and safety and welfare standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep rooms running smoothly
