Procurement Category Manager Indirects

About the Role

KONE is looking for an experienced Procurement Category Manager Indirects to lead and deliver category strategies across our Australia and New Zealand business. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping indirect procurement strategies driving value through endtoend sourcing projects and managing key supplier relationships across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and crossfunctional teams acting as the category lead for Indirects within the ANZ region while ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category procurement strategies and plans aligned to business objectives

• Lead endtoend procurement projects including RFx activities and supplier selection

• Manage and negotiate supplier contracts ensuring value compliance and risk mitigation

• Lead contract implementations and resolve contractrelated issues

• Monitor market trends benchmarks and best practices across indirect categories

• Develop and improve categoryspecific policies processes and governance

You will bring:

• At least 4 years experience in procurement supply chain or a related field

• Preferred MCIPS qualification (or working towards)

• Experience managing indirect categories across multiple business units

• Strong experience in category management sourcing and supplier negotiations

• Excellent stakeholder change and project management skills

• Confidence working in a matrixed international environment
