Position Summary:
The Senior Enterprise Reporting Analyst/Enterprise Reporting Architect at UI Health Care Information Systems is responsible for developing reports and analysis to support clinical and operational processes aligned with organizational goals within UI Health Care. This includes engaging with data stewards and stakeholders to understand workflows and processes to provide accurate actionable information.
This position is eligible for remote work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy work arrangements will be reviewed annually and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal customer/stakeholders to define and document data analytics and reporting requirements.
Ensure timely completion of data requests using appropriate tools and applications within Epic or 3rd party BI tools.
Provide first tier end user support and guidance for data solutions platforms and training.
Execute assigned projects and deliverables to support analytic activities and improvement opportunities aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and quality patient care.
Coordinate and participate in the planning definition design and implementation of all reports and applications in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders and data stewards.
Manipulate analyze interpret and summarize data through presentations to facilitate decision making for stakeholders and communicate findings of analyses.
Responsible for data extracts statistical analyses data transformations and presentation of analysis utilizing appropriate tools.
Document all aspects of process when developing analysis including requirements design decisions logic inclusions exclusions and code.

Enterprise Reporting Analyst (Classification: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst): $57749 to commensurate - 4B
Senior Enterprise Reporting Analyst (Classification: Business Intelligence Architect): $68678 to commensurate - 5B

Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science MIS or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience Requirements:
Reporting experience typically 3-5 years for the Senior Enterprise Reporting Analyst; and 5-7 years for the Enterprise Reporting Architect.
Experience in MS SQL to write optimized queries across large volumes of data with the ability to write complex queries and performance tune.
Experience with data visualization/reporting/BI tools.
Knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals.
Proven track record of researching organizing analyzing and synthesizing data to support effective decision making.
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to define system requirements and understand business reporting outcomes.
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as cooperatively with others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:
Epic certifications(s) or experience related but not limited to the following: Cogito Fundamentals Cogito Tools Administration Caboodle Data Model Clarity Data Model Radar EpicCare Ambulatory EpicCare Inpatient EpicCare Procedure Orders Cadence etc.
Advanced knowledge of reporting with Microsoft Power BI.
Experience working in a healthcare delivery setting with clinical operational or financial reporting experience.
Advanced analytical skills necessary for the evaluation of complex data sets .
Experience working with vendors to define system requirements integration strategies and implement interfaces.
