A Day in the Life and the Impact Youll Make:

We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Engineering Intern to support testing activities in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience in environmental testing automotive electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and engine dynamometer (E-dyno) operations working closely with experienced engineers and technicians.

What Youll Do:

  • Monitor test runs under supervision and log performance data
  • Help with basic troubleshooting and post-test data review
  • General Laboratory Support
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality guidelines at all times
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe lab environment
  • Assist engineers with test planning documentation and reporting
  • Perform other technical tasks as assigned

What Youll Bring:

  • Enrolled in college or previous technical field experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow procedures
  • Basic knowledge of Electronics or Mechanical fundamentals

Physical Considerations:

  • Ability to move and conduct work with full range of motion.
  • Ability to lift 25-50lbs
  • Extended periods of computer-based work
  • Extended periods of standing
  • Ability to work in a general office environment
  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work including telephone
  • Ability to work flexible and long hours as needed

    • No travel required for this position.

    What Youll Receive for the Value You Bring:

    Compensation:

    The base pay range for this position is $15 per hour to $22 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge skills and experience.
