Assists in completing institutional award and reporting documents.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in completing institutional award and reporting documents. Assists in completing award modifications. Assists in preparing and tracking internal routing process for all incoming awards and modifications. Assists in assuring completeness and accuracy of award package required to process an award transaction.
- Maintains grants and contract system for all funding awards/contracts from initial award to award closeout. This includes but not limited to NOAs contract amendments compliance approvals budgets and key correspondence and updating award/contract deliverables.
- Ensures adherence to institutional policies and sponsor guidelines for awards and performs IRB IACUC COI and other compliance reviews.
- Reviews deliverable and close out reports and award reports to proactively assist awards team manage portfolio and upcoming deadlines such as RPPRs.
- Begins to develop professional knowledge through self-study research participation in professional development and attendance at webinars and conferences.
- Receives information on changes with NIH and other sponsors guidelines forms requirements regulations etc. Learns the details on special projects as assigned and executes tasks in requested time frame.
- Active member of the administrative research support team participates in meetings as needed to effectively oversee compliance with institutional local state federal and other sponsor requirements and regulations.
Education Requirement:
Associates Degree or equivalent education and experience required.
Experience:
Experience in research administration accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
