SEnergy is seeking a detail-oriented Summer Analyst Intern to join our College Station Team to assist with financial and data analysis projects for Energy Consulting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with Energy Consulting projects as needed.
- Collaborate with team to identify ways for data and analytics to drive decision making.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial models and forecasting tools to support decision-making.
- Support the team in identifying and assessing potential opportunities.
- Contribute to the ongoing management of client accounts including monitoring power procurement performance and reviewing financial statements.
- Attend team meetings and participate in discussions on business and financial strategy.
- Perform analysis to solve critical and complex business problems.
- Comprehend extract and synthesize information to deliver business insight.
- Design and build solutions to empower Clients decision-making needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Accounting Finance Electrical Engineering Economics Management or other quantitative discipline
- Proficient knowledge Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Analytical creative and innovative approach to solving problems
- Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred:
- Experience in data analytics utilizing large data sets
- Proficient knowledge of SQL and/or other structured programming language(s) (e.g. Python C etc)
