JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Inventory Supervisor is to manage the day to day operation of the technical services warehouse including internal processes (receipt stocking and distribution) or Technical Services general MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operating) spend. Provide positive team member and customer relations on a daily basis while balancing general administrative commitments (payroll schedules etc.).
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing inventory system and nonstock receiving process including physical tracking of materials from receiving POs and electronic tracking via Maximo ensuring distribution of material to areas.
- Supervise staff to ensure compliance with all procedures regarding the receiving stocking and issuance of both stock and non-stock parts. Oversight to include functions at the main warehouse as well as the satellite distribution process and offsite warehouse location. Ensure team members meet audit requirements. Manage team member time and attendance department schedule required safety training and complete annual performance appraisals as required
- Manage special requests from field coordinators and supervisors to facilitate superior customer service relating to availability and distribution of parts
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED (required)
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 Years: Business / Operational Finance Inventory management required in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver License Required
