Python Developer Director Lead Software Engineering

Were seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a Python Developer in Tech Risk Gov & Controls (TRGC) to We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in real-time applications microservices and be comfortable supporting production environments including troubleshooting and resolving production issues promptly. You will work collaboratively in an Agile environment and contribute to building deploying and maintaining robust backend systems.

This is Director position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What youll do in the role:

Application Development:

Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient Python-based applications and clean maintainable and well-documented code following industry best practices.

Code Reviews and Mentorship:

Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality performance and adherence to and guide junior developers fostering technical growth within the team.

Integration and Automation:

Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.

Testing and Debugging:

Write unit tests integration tests and perform debugging to ensure high-quality and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with product managers DevOps and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks libraries and tools. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

Data Handling and Analysis:

Work with large datasets ensuring efficient data processing and storage. Implement data pipelines and ETL processes as needed.

What youll bring to the role:

• Experienced professional with 7 years of development experience in Python

• 2-5 years of experience in Angular/ any other UI development skills. Strong networking background IP Firewalls Proxy Routing Load Balancing OSI Model Packet trace and analysis etc.)

• Good understanding of the protocols underpinning the web - TCP/IP HTTP SSL/TLS etc. (Ideal candidate would be able to intelligently dissect all 7 layers of the OSI stack) and troubleshoot.

• Hands on experience in understanding different data sets generated from various cybersecurity products/ services/ SIEM tools

• Understanding of data structures data modelling and software architecture
  Experience in architecture design and implementation of data intensive applications for practical use-cases.

• Practical knowledge of deep learning implementation in at least one of the areas Cyber NLP Image Processing

• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills

• Expertise in visualizing large datasets in an efficient manner

• Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of deliverables
