Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineering Specialist to join our Test Engineering (TE) Team contributing to the development of test and automation solutions in an electronics manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside an experienced engineering team supporting production software validation and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain software solutions using C# and TestStand.
Debug and fix software issues in C# and TestStand.
Validate software functionality to ensure reliability and performance.
Assist in the development of test and automation solutions for electronics manufacturing.
Support production and software validation processes.
Collaborate with engineers to review and contribute to test/validation development designs.
Implement software and hardware solutions including hardware procurement integration qualification and installation.
Assist in creating and updating work instructions for test processes.
Contribute to process optimization to improve development efficiency.
Preferred Background Knowledge
General knowledge of electronics.
Basic understanding of manufacturing systems.
Experience working with instrumentation (e.g. Power Supplies Oscilloscopes Multimeters).
Exposure to engineering project development and support.
What You Need to Succeed
Graduated with a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering (or a related field).
Strong software engineering skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Experience with at least one of the following: C# TestStand or MS SQL.
LabView/VEE-code working experience is asset.
Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.Required Experience:
