Role Overview: The client is seeking a Senior Front End Software Developer to support ongoing SPDS projects by delivering modern responsive and accessible user interfaces. The role involves translating technical specifications into high quality front end applications while supporting development testing deployment and production support activities.
Must Have Requirements: - Strong experience with Angular (v2) and React frameworks
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong experience with HTML5 and CSS for responsive UI development
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and front end integrations
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Nice to Have: - Experience with Azure DevOps or Bitbucket
- Knowledge of AODA / WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards
- Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
Key Responsibilities: - Translate technical system specifications into working front end applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write clean maintainable code
- Design build test debug and document applications
- Troubleshoot technical issues during development and production support
- Collaborate with cross functional teams throughout the SDLC
- Participate in design walkthroughs and technical reviews
- Support migrations deployments and enhancements
- Ensure adherence to accessibility and UI standards
Evaluation Criteria: - Technical Skills (50%)
- Java Expertise (20%)
- AODA / Accessibility Experience (15%)
- Soft Skills (15%)
