Role Overview
The 3D Artist Customer Experience & Digital Visualization is a customerfacing creative professional located at Embraers Global Customer Center Melbourne FL. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver an exceptional customer experience by supporting interior design sessions for a global executive aviation customer base. This position interfaces directly with highprofile highnetworth customers helping transform their preferences into compelling and accurate digital visualizations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Customer Experience & Live Configurator Support
- Deliver excellent customer experience during interior specification sessions.
- Operate the inhouse 3D Configurator in real time.
- Update materials configurations and options accurately.
- Maintain strong situational awareness and interact professionally with customers.
2. Digital Material Creation & Texture Scanning
- Use HP Z Captis with Adobe Substance 3D Sampler to scan calibrate tile and export textures.
- Ensure all scanned materials meet quality standards.
- Integrate materials into the Configurator.
- Maintain consistency through proper naming conventions.
3) Collaboration with the Visualization Team
- Author materials in Substance 3D Designer producing .sbsar or texture outputs compatible with 3ds Max VRay and Unreal Engine.
- Expose functional parameters (e.g. color/roughness/variation) when appropriate to allow downstream customization and maintain realworld scale and lighting behavior.
- Coordinate with the Visualization Team to ensure appearance parity and resolve issues related to textures scale or map interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using Adobe Substance 3D Sampler with a material capture device (HP Z Captis preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Substance 3D Designer for PBR material creation and .sbsar authoring.
- Proven experience creating tileable scan-based materials from physical samples.
- Ability to produce map sets for the configurator and full materials for VRay and Unreal Engine.
- Experience with photometric/polarimetric scanners such as HP Z Captis (experience with Vizoo/XRite is valuable but must translate to the Captis Sampler workflow).
- High attention to color accuracy tiling quality scale and realism.
- Comfortable in customer-facing roles and responsive during live sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aviation automotive product or architectural visualization.
- Familiarity with textiles leathers veneers stones and other interior materials.
- Understanding of UV workflows shader fundamentals and real-time rendering principles.
- Experience working in customer-facing technical roles.
- Desirable experience with 3ds Max and VRay

Working Conditions/Environment/Special Requirements
Ability to work safely and professionally adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA EPA State and Federal regulations.
Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
Travel might be required.
