About the Role:

We are looking to appoint an Anti-Social Behaviour Enforcement Officer to join a small team who is committed to supporting the community by tackling anti-social behaviour. You will be expected to play a key part in working in partnership to make a difference.

About the Candidate:

We would like to hear from you if you have knowledge of the relevant law Government guidance policies and practice relating to tackling anti-social behaviour have excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate information; to present clear accurate and concise reports to a wide range of audiences and an ability to work effectively with individuals teams customers partners and staff understanding the functions and needs of the service and the organisation as a whole. We are looking for someone who can handle emotive and stressful situations and have excellent time management. The successful candidate will need to have experience in using the relevant tools and powers to tackle anti-social behaviour and have experience of case management to bring cases to a successful resolution.

Duties will include:

  • Effective and efficient case management ensuring a victim focused service is provided.
  • Attend meetings/other forums with residents and partner agencies.
  • Interview witnesses and perpetrators including tape recorded interviews.
  • Convene and chair Anti-Social Behaviour Case Conference.
  • Effective and efficient case management of internal violence and aggression submissions.
  • Responding to reports of unauthorised encampments on Council land and ensuring necessary legal action is taken.
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues.
  • Represent and co-ordinate specific Operations e.g Staysafe
  • Serve legal notices applications and orders
