Job Summary
Position Summary:
Southeastern Regional Technical Vocational High School seeks a passionate and dedicated
Long-term Substitute to teach High School Physical Education.
Preferred Licensure:
Physical Education 5-12
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree.
- Valid Massachusetts teaching licensure in Physical Education.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage learner-centered student-owned educational experiences in physical health in the gym and the Fitness Center.
- Create a classroom environment of high expectations that is safe supportive and inclusive.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support and differentiate learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students parents/families and colleagues.
