Corporate Counsel, AWS Sales, Marketing & Global Services

This attorney will support Amazon Web Services in China. As our Corporate Counsel youll be a crucial partner providing legal counsel for senior executives and other business team members on regulatory and compliance matters.

Key job responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to senior executives and business teams on regulatory compliance product development and strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement legal strategies that support AWSs business objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conduct thorough legal analysis of complex business scenarios offering clear and actionable recommendations
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with AWSs operations

Your day will be dynamic and impactful supporting AWSs strategic objectives. Youll collaborate closely with business leaders providing nuanced legal guidance on product launches and other important business objectives.

- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

- Experience in complex domestic and international business litigation including trial experience and counseling parties and witnesses in pre-dispute and dispute resolution or equivalent context
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience in data center engineering or operations
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience in Regulatory Law

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
